Collarium lotions are specifically designed to develop colour in conjunction with the lower levels of UV and the red light properties that Collarium globes produce. These lotions will not work to their potential if used in a Solarium or the sun, nor will solarium lotions develop colour effectively in a Collarium because they need high levels of UV to properly activate.
Fun Fact: You'll also often hear Collarium lotions referred to as "Pro" lotions, that is a term that very proudly originated from us at Luxe Lotion! We put Pro lotions on the map because we needed a way to be able to identify them separately from Tingles which can also be used with a Collarium.
Collarium lotions are jam packed with ingredients that help to protect the integrity of the skin as much as they possibly can while tanning. Please remember, you are taking a risk with any UV exposure no matter how low it is.
